Yesterday was Holden's last day of preschool for the year. I was very happy with the preschool and his teacher and was glad to hear him say he's looking forward to going back in the fall. I guess (for him at least) it's officially summer!

We're supposed to have a record breaking high temperature for May 10th today. What a simply fantastic time for the central air on my side of the building at work to continue not functioning correctly. Almost makes me glad I'm headed to the airport tomorrow morning to go to a trade show.
|That's 86 freaking degrees in my office if you're scoring along at home.|

We had another OB appointment yesterday and, I'm pleased to report, that everything is progressing well. The little one has a heartbeat of around 160 bpm (just like "What I Like About You" by the Romantics). In fact, it's the heartbeat you'll hear by clicking right here. I don't know if people with an untrained ear can pick this up or not but that is, without a doubt, the heartbeat of a Cubs fan.

The Cloverettes season marches on. Our bats fell asleep in game 2 and we ran in to a team that reminded me a lot of last year's squad (veterans who can all just rake and play great defense) last night so we find ourselves with a record of 1-2 after 3 games but everyone is still having fun and we're noticing improvements in all the girls already.
